Together, Leos and Lions form a powerful partnership — one of mutual respect where Lions learn from the innovative insights of Leos, and where Leos gain access to the proven strategies of those who’ve successfully served the world for decades.
This special program is designed for kids ages 12 and younger to teach them the joy of volunteering and help them develop a lifelong dedication to helping those in need. Cubs don’t need to be related to a Lions member to participate — they just need to be ready to help and have fun.
For over 100 years, Lions Clubs International members has been a global leader in vision care, answering Helen Keller’s call to be “Knights of the Blind.”
The Monarch Butterfly Gardens CA Lions project was developed by Lion Lynda Durand in district 4L4 with grant funding from the California Lions Foundation. The project’s mission is to see Monarch Butterfly Gardens Planted throughout the State of CA and increase butterfly access to the plants they need to reproduce and thrive.
Multiple District Four (MD-4) California Lions, represent over 730 clubs and 20,000 members united to support the needy in virtually every local community in the state. The Lions of California welcome, embrace, and partner in service projects with like-minded individuals, associations, and corporations.

Lions In Sight of California and Nevada (LIS) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) California corporation. LIS is an endorsed project of Lions Clubs International’s Multiple District 4 and has been designated by LionsClubs International as the Lions Clubs International Recycling Center for the Western U.S.
At California Lions Friends in Sight we educate, restore vision, and prevent blindness for thousands of disadvantaged men, women and children. This work is made possible by caring volunteers donating their time, talent and treasure to deliver the “Gift of Sight”. The organization is a stand-alone 501c3 non-profit.
The Lions Eye Foundation of California-Nevada, Inc. (LEF) preserves and restores the gift of sight by providing free ophthalmic examinations, operations, and medication to the less fortunate members of our community. The non-profit foundation that has been in existence over 55 years.
California Lions Foundation (CLF) is a California, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c) (3) corporation with the sole purpose to provide matching financial grants to California Lions Clubs. CLF matching grants are provided to enable California Lions clubs to provide even greater service to their local communities.
Lions provide the young people of the world with opportunities for achievement, learning, contribution and service, individually and collectively, through sponsorship of activities identified as best practices in the field of youth development. Lions also serves to make a difference in the lives of marginalized youth.
